1991-2010 – Rafaeli worked with numerous publications in Israel and worldwide including Libération, Paris Match, Newsweek, Stern and Yedioth Ahronot.

2009-2015 – The founder and artistic director of the Israel International Photography Festival, in which hundreds of photographers from Israel and around the world participated, and in which he created unique connections and platforms of photography and display.

2010-2019 – Initiated and curated numerous social-artistic projects in the field of photography.

2016 – Participated in the Fotográfica Bogotá, a photography biennial held in Bogotá, Colombia.

2019 – His exhibition “Arenas” is currently displayed at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art.
